Facial Toners (known as Lotion in Japan), are an important part of any skincare regime, yet it’s so often overlooked when caring for the skin. Toning the face has been a long, outstanding practice in Japan and practiced in my family for as long as I can remember. Using the correct toner is key as it not only preps the skin before applying face creams, lotions or serums, but it also provides much needed moisture by soothing and hydrating the skin and making instantly supple.
All Chikyu’s Facial Toners are made from pure botanical and fruit hydrates (extracts) which are the byproducts of the steam distillation of plant matter during the process of making essential oils. In addition, our Toners are alcohol free, therefore will never dry out, nor will they wreak havoc on your precious skin. Chikyu Facial Toners will leave your skin so supple you will think you have already applied a face cream to your face!

Directions for Use: After washing face and patting dry, apply toner to skin with clean hands or cotton ball. After applying, gently pat face with hands. Doing this stimulates blood flow. Allow a few minutes for face to air dry before applying anything on face. For best results, follow with Facial Serum for Mature Skin.

INFORMATIVE NOTES:
– *Helichrysum is extremely respected for its skin healing properties and is known to aid in repairing older sun-damaged skin. It is very effective as an anti-microbial agent, anti-fungal agent, and for its ability to filter UV rays (although it is not to be considered a sun protection in this product).
– Hydrolyzed Oats are naturally derived by obtaining oligosaccharides (carbohydrates) and protein. It will impart leave a soft, cushiony feel on the skin and drying to a velvety smoothness on the skin.
– Lemon Bioferment is an optimal skin lightening ingredient made by macerating whole lemon fruit and incubating it with Lactobacillus lacti. It is an excellent skin lightener known for ameliorating age spots and irregular skin pigmentation over time.
– *Myrtle Extract is especially best for treating wrinkles and is known for its anti-inflammatory properties.
– *Rose Extract is an excellent emollient and superior for skin preparation especially focusing on dry, sensitive and mature skin

This is a lovely product! It’s the perfect base for other products, or an anytime spritz! I love the scent and find it very refreshing (especially after being in our Florida heat). I would describe it as a “green” scent, herbacious-like, but it dissipates fairly quickly. I will certainly be reordering a toner when I run out. Both of the ones I tried are equally wonderful!
