Remaining true to CHIKYU’s Japanese roots, CHIKYU has handcrafted an artisanal soap bar made from scratch using Bamboo Activated Charcoal. This premier and valued ingredient has been used in Japan for many of centuries due to its ability to purify, detoxify and cleanse. And unlike most activated charcoals, Bamboo Activated Charcoal quickly penetrates the surface of the skin to adsorb (not absorb), impurities and toxins.

Directions for Use: Create lather in wet hands and gentile massage onto face. Rinse face with luke warm water. Pat face dry. To preserve this soap, do not allow it to sit in water.

🚿 To extend the life of your soap, keep it out of direct contact with water and let the bar air dry between uses. If this bar of soap is used for showering, do know it will get used much more quickly than a bar used strictly for hand washing. With this in mind and to extend the life of your soap, it is best to keep it out of direct contact with water, especially in a dish with no drainage. If not, your bar may not last more than 2-3 weeks.

One of my all time favorites! Effective yet super gentle. I order this soap mainly for my husband but I like to use it during the hot months because I chaff and break out on my butt and inner thighs. This is a perfect soap for someone who doesn’t really know what to try first because it works well on all skin types.

I always have this bar of soap in my shower. I get low, I order another. It’s great for summer and for chaffing. And works wonder on my body acne. Smells soo good after I get out the shower. I can still smell it on my skin next morning. Perfect balance of cleansing and nourishment for your skin.
