The appearance of dark spots, scarring or uneven skin tone (hyper-pigmentation), can affect any skin type and are some of the most common complaints when it comes to addressing the skin. CHIKYU’s RADIANCE Skin Booster Brightening Serum was specifically created by integrating natures most potent lightening agents to address these issues thereby penetrating the dermal layer and naturally brightening the skin bringing back integrity to the skin.
To overcome hyper-pigmentation naturally, it is imperative to maintain a strict skin care routine that incorporates mindful awareness as well as natural skin-lighteners. Because RADIANCE Skin Booster Brightening Serum contains natural skin brightening properties as opposed to harmful man-made, synthetically produced skin lighteners; patience, dedication and diligence is of great import.
NOTE: Due to the nature and many causes of hyper-pigmentation, the condition cannot always be prevented. However, when caused by UV exposure, it absolutely can be avoided. – Alpha Arbutin is a natural derivative of hydroquinone (skin lightener), swerved from plants, including bearberry, blueberry and cranberry.
– *American Ginseng is a wonderful skin conditioner, cleanser, and contains restorative properites. It also acts on free radicals in the body, thus slowing down the effects of aging.
– *Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide is a botanical hylauronic acid retrieved from the Cassia Angustifolia, a native plant to India known for its skin moisturizing properties and its high content of polysaccharides. These polysaccharides have shown to mimic hyaluronic acid, a component of the skin which assists tissue repair and protection. When applied topically this plant based hyaluronic acid penetrates the dermis to secure moisture and in turn support the skins elasticity and structure. Not only is hyaluronic acid directly correlated to increases in skin moisture, it can adjust its moisture absorption rate based on the humidity of the environment. This natural extract also functions as an anti-inflammatory.
-*Dandelion contains highly revered antioxidants, preventing the degeneration of skin cells and free radical damage.
-*Geranium is an elegant flower effectively used and known for its ability to regenerate skin tissue. It has been proven to be excellent for rebuilding scarred, damaged, and broken down skin cells and prolific in renewing even severely burned skin without leaving any discoloration or scarring behind.
– Glycolic Acid is the most active and beneficial of the Alpha-Hydroxy-Acids (AHA) used in skin care and is derived from sugar cane. Studies have shown glycolic acid to be the most effective fruit acid for cosmetic application. It has the smallest molecular structure of all AHAs, thus possesses the greatest penetration potential. Inside the cell, it stimulates the collagen and elastin fibers in the dermis, improving the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines and other forms of sun damage.

– *Horsetail, a descendant of ancient plants contains one of the most concentrated forms of silica, a major building block for hair, skin and nails and an age old secret to beauty. Hair, nails, and skin all thrive on silica, drinking it up like water in a desert.
– Kojic Acid is an antioxidant derived from a fungus rather than a plant. Works by breaking down melanin in the skin, preventing its production in the skin while lightening the skin.
– *Willow Bark Extract provides natural beta hydroxy acid without skin irritation. It enhances cell renewal and encourages the shedding of dead skin, revealing a brighter-looking complexion.

This sample size lasted about 2.5 weeks with daily use. After 2 nights use, I noticed my facial skin had a softer, slightly more refined texture. After 2.5 weeks, my skin was very soft, and the lines around my eyes and forehead were noticably softer, thanks to the glycolic acid. I used this after the Chikyu balanced toner, and then applied my regular moisturizer. Would absolutely buy again, excited to see results after long-term use!
